airing the armpits

I mean really Legion, unless you had to air under that arm, how can even a koala sleep this way?
they strike the funniest poses

That looks terribly uncomfortable, but I suppose he feels safer with a good grip on the branch!

Looks far from comfortable, but then I've seen the kids sleep in some very strange positions when young.

@pyrrhula :) well if you mean are the cuddly bundles of fur ... no
wild koalas are wild animals. but they are not aggressive, not at all
however, if you tried to pick one up it would see you as a very scary giant attacking them and they can bite through to the bone, and those claws are like razors and can do a person a lot of damage
when we rescue them, it takes someone with a lot of training and skill, and a good bit of speed and luck!

Very uncomfortable looking, Legion seem to be some sort of contortionist

@koalagardens. Thank you for this interesting information. When our sun visit Australia they did night trips (with lights) to watch them . I told him I do n`t like that, Do n`t disurb wild animals for fun. . He also say that the smell badly to Eucalyptus .

@pyrrhula yes those night trips are very popular, but it must be disturbing as they have to use spotlights.
I don't find koala smell bad, but I can't often smell them on the property, sometimes a little bit right at the base of a tree
