wild koalas are wild animals. but they are not aggressive, not at all
however, if you tried to pick one up it would see you as a very scary giant attacking them and they can bite through to the bone, and those claws are like razors and can do a person a lot of damage
when we rescue them, it takes someone with a lot of training and skill, and a good bit of speed and luck!
@koalagardens. Thank you for this interesting information. When our sun visit Australia they did night trips (with lights) to watch them . I told him I do n`t like that, Do n`t disurb wild animals for fun. . He also say that the smell badly to Eucalyptus .
@pyrrhula yes those night trips are very popular, but it must be disturbing as they have to use spotlights.
I don't find koala smell bad, but I can't often smell them on the property, sometimes a little bit right at the base of a tree
