Zorro hasn't been seen here since very early July, so it was great to find him soaking up the morning sun down in an area of younger trees.
Thank you for all the comments, especially for caring about Greta, I read and appreciate every single one.
@beryl Zorro has an amazing face, he always looks a big grumpy or sad, and usually he is more wrinkly than today. He is quite different looking to any of the others that come through my property!
@sailingmusic no colds, but they get HIV and chlamydia which is one of the main things killing them off so sadly. The stress of so few trees, and roads and dogs, means huge numbers are sick, and we are slowly losing the battle to save them - the may well be extinct in the next 20 -30 years :(
Lovely capture, love the morning shadows on Zorro face.
