This 12 month old joey is still here, what a delight. Some perspective is this joey would weigh around 2.5kg while the adults you see here would be 6-8kg in general. Hard to explain what a tiny ball this is as I come along spotting - not so obvious when I zoom in for a nice shot like this :)

@365karly1 @beryl @kchuk oh yes he is doing fine :) I work voluntarily with koala rescue and rehab, so I would take him in if there was any concern - he is a good size for his age and moving to new trees every day. I just wish I could be sure he is a 'he' lol
Elyse you know Mist is a good experienced mum, she knew it was time for him to be alone, that's really important for wild animals to survive :)
