FoR leading lines challenge.
Previously on WtL I woke before dark to hear a koala screaming. At sunrise Maxine was out on a limb, Jordan settling into a nearby tree.
Bullet jumps in to read the scent story contained in the tree then disappears into bloodwood gully...
As that little white bottom recedes into the tall native grasses beside the track I turn my attention back to Jordan.
My mind just keeps clicking back to one thought - Bullet what a voyeur you are, examining every minute detail of the nights antics!
Jordan is now on high alert watching to be sure Bullet has gone but he tricks me by appearing to just be watching from on high (see bonus scene 3).
So my mind returns to that one inhalation of coffee fumes I had managed and draws me inexorably back to pour the cup of liquid energy as I ponder what I've been witnessing.
Of course no sooner do I take my first sip than I see movement and wouldn't you know it, now Jordan is leaving his tree. You have it right to imagine me gulping one more mouthful as I sling my camera on my shoulder and race out the door yet again to stalk behind him.
To my amazement, Jordan now heads to same tree, smelling every inch of ground from the moment he hit the edge of the drip line. He was like a little tubby bloodhound making his way to the trunk.
Funny I couldn't smell and thing, even when I lay down on the ground under the tree to take this photo ...
Stay tuned for the next exciting episode ...
What is Jordan doing up in the tree now?
Does Katrina ever get her coffee?
Walking the Line is a Koala Gardens production, promoting real life drama from real koalas. The full length motion picture will be released this week (a whopping 12 minutes to keep you chuckling for hours)
Thanks so much for being a part of my project and commenting and asking such awesome questions :)
Just a little Maxine , up so high , wedged in the fork of the huge tree .She must be the main character of this whole saga . You are keeping us in suspense ! - and its killing me !! :)
@beryl suspense is food for the soul, I certainly it nourishes rather than kills! hahaha I should just comment that is Jordan up the tree - so now we have had 3 different koalas in the same tree over the course of just 2 hours (you can see the time stamps, verifying this is a real story)
Love the pov on this one (bravo to you for lying down on the ground without a full cup of coffee to get it!) especially the way it leads us up to Jordan.
