I wish it wasn't called milkweed because it is beautiful and the host for the monarch butterfly, so it's very desirable! thank you for viewing and commenting, every one is much appreciated

@alophoto yes, mostly I only have the cream one, which is lovey and the monarchs love it. this one has the best flowers but there are not many and the plants are always much smaller - guess it puts all the energy into the incredible colours :)

@happysnaps most of the ones I have here are a cream colour - exactly the same flower, but cream. interestingly the cream one grows quite a large robust plant, while this prettier one is much smaller

I've never seen the flower of the milkweed, strangely. I've seen lots of images of the seeds. Quite beautiful and Monarch Bush is definitely a better name for it!
