Waiting was worth it!

Oh yes, my tawny has a friend :) Tawny frogmouths partner up for life and share the incubation and raising of their chicks. Breeding season starts around now, so let's hope! Thank you for such lovely comments on my photos.

@yorkshirekiwi @pamknowler @jesika2 @nobled yes the tawny frogmouths are nocturnal, so they fly about at night. however they are not owls - they are often mistaken for owls because of their large eyes and colouring. Hopefully we will indeed see them getting closer together and deciding a partnership and family are a great idea :)
