I'm a bit out of sync so filling in one I had prepared but missed up loading. A sunrise like this always gives me a feeling there is hope in this mad world, especially when I'm hearing the kookaburras laughing. thank you for so many awesome comments on my photos, every one is read and appreciated!
@gigiflower this is a pink bloodwood so it is corymbia which was in the eucalypt family until the mid 1990's and it seems it is going to be classified back in there again as will a few other trees like the angophora (rough barked apple). quite a lot of the koalas here eat a fair bit of bloodwood and often sleep in them, but they are considered secondary :) that was a long answer!
