Nearly every day I'm seeing one or two flying foxes in trees around the house. They shouldn't be here as they should all go back as a colony to roost together in a permanent place.
I can't tell them apart so don't know if see different ones on different days or some are stuck here. There are so many not getting back to their colony roosts that the wildlife rescue teams just can't get around and check them all.
And it's not even hot weather yet, I'm wondering how they will cope when the heat arrives :(
They do fascinate me as they are quite large and such faces! They are listed as vulnerable to extinction and are one of the top level forest pollinators.
Ooh what a dilemma ! , such beautiful little creature and a lovely shot of that fox-like face ! Hope that nature will take them back to their own colony ! fav
