well technically it is not poo, it is excreted directly from the caecum and somehow scoots through the bowels without the usual processes and comes out as a porridge-like consistency.
it is therefore full of live bacteria that get joeys digestive system up and running to be able to eat leaves

yeah, yuck, but they've been researching even human natural births pick up mum's gut bacteria on the way through. A problem for caesarian sections.
