A type of bromeliad, this one hangs from the trees and can form incredibly long strands, I don't know why it doesn't just blow down. Thanks to 365 I just learned some things about this!
Wonderful - is this the one called Spanish Moss - if so we used it a lot in Floral Art with its long strands !

Lovely shot! It's really not a moss but a bromeliad. It isn't from Spain either, but South America and Mexico. It thrives on rain, fog, and sunlight. It really is a marvel. =)

@beryl @marlboromaam yes and yes! I was going to look it up before posting but didn't and should have. totally right both of you, it is spanish moss and I never knew it was a brom!
