Nice on black - all these photos were taken from quite a difference as I was testing out the zoom of the new Nikon but had messed up and only got jpgs, no RAW to process. So I made a collage of some that I liked. Back to some more learning when the sun comes up - hopefully even test on a koala today!
@beryl thanks, I was really happy with them, but I still wanted to have the RAW version to bring up in Photoshop Camera RAW which is where I'm used to doing my first processes. I'm certain I will love this camera, once I learn to drive it properly :)
Beautiful captures. Good thing. It may be your go to choice for awhile. Always wonderful to have another thing to learn and practice with though. Have fun. I do miss Bullet (RIP), but there are so many new ones to remind us how important the project is.
Will be interested in what you think of the P1000. I use mine a lot but I have yet to learn shooting in RAW (on my “to do” list). Lovely group of shots!
@amyk what you can do with a RAW image is really quite awesome. doesn't make any difference to taking the image at the time, but gives so many post processing options
