keep your eyes peeled by koalagardens

keep your eyes peeled

I had a lovely young couple to see their first ever wild koalas yesterday. We had a great show by 4 of them and then, nearly back to the house, and what a beauty! I didn't see him til I was about 2m from him and he was stopped very still. We took some photos, they were amazed, and then we quietly just walked a wide circle around behind. The snake never moved. Hard to see in the photo? Hard to see in reality!
If you go this far, it is a Coastal Carpet Python.
😳😳😳😳 I’m terrified of Nope Ropes. Great capture, but I must scroll on quickly😬

He is a beauty. Good job you didn't tread on him.

He is hard to see. How long was he and what kind of prey would he go after?

I can appreciate the beauty of his markings and even though it is a python, I'm glad that it's not in my backyard :)

Snake diagonal :-) Must be great to see something like that. My goto place for photographing adders in spring seems to have been destroyed by deforestation :-(
