The Megyeri Bridge, formerly known as the Northern M0 Danube Bridge, is a sloping bridge that covers the Danube between Buda and Pest, and on the western and eastern side of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. An important part of the M0 ring road in Budapest.
The bridge paid HUF 63 billion (about $ 300 million) and officially opened on September 30, 2008; [1] However, the National Transport Authority issued only temporary permits for the agreement between suburban towns around the bridge.
The name of the newly built bridge was called online to determine the name, and media attention was gained when American comedians Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart won.
