Thinker

My first attempt at low key - I'll admit I hadn't even heard of it in a photographic sense until the theme this week. Had another one posted for today (added in my extras album: http://365project.org/kph129/extras/2012-05-22 ), but I'm thinking this one is a little more low key-esque...

Please, all advice and/or suggestions for improvement welcome! Be critical!

Juliet was a tough model for this shoot - didn't want to sit still and thought it was a fun game to keep turning off my light source... ahh two-year olds! I think next time I'll try with an inanimate object!
Awesome!

I think this a fab first attempt and I can imagine that it wasn't so easy to get this shot with a two year old :) Well done, keep going (have to try a low key shot myself since I love those photos).

I love this. I don't know what low key is so I can't comment on that aspect of it. The lighting is beautiful and the expression on her face is perfect. I know what it's like to get my kids to pose!

This is a lovely first attempt. I was just contemplating trying a shot myself but I think I'll have the same challenges as you as my models are nearly 2 and just 4! Welcome to 365 too!

@magentarose @sabrinaromahn @edie @kiwichick ~ Thanks Megan, Sabrina, Edie, and Lesley for the kind comments! I had a couple others that I thought about using, but I liked the moody expression on this one - thought it fit the dark theme.

Stick with this one, it is beautiful and clearly demonstrates expression.
Very nice.

Hmm, I never commented on this one first time round - well, I think it's absolutely beautiful. I love this shot of Juliet. Love, love, love. And fav!
