We have had a warm week - most days up to 10 degrees C in the day. This morning it was even raining! NOT normal for Calgary December. Yikes for the icy roads as it is supposed to go down and stay below freezing for the next while. On the bright side, it was making pretty droplets on the bare bushes.
This is a composite of 15 macro images stacked with Helicon Focus software to get greater depth of focus. It worked pretty well, though the background got a bit painterly...
Wow, that sounds like a handy technique. Was it hard to do?
Your weather sounds like ours. It's so warm and wet here that the ski hill opening has been delayed another week and even then it'll be a tough call. So unusual!
@kiwichick - no really easy. Just open the files and hit the 'Render' button. I just have the free month version - not sure how much it is to buy. Someone said the latest version of Photoshop Elements has a stacking feature as does regular Photoshop. Does the late opening of the ski hill affect your town a lot? I'd imagine many people are praying for snow!?
Kristin, you have such a beautiful family. I don't know what to challenge you to do as your photography seems to cover many areas and I must say you are very talented. I'm very new to the this Get Pushed Challenge so please bare with me and if you find my challenge boring let me know. I challenge you to a landscape or cityscape. I look forward to seeing what you do. :)
Thank you for my challenge, I don't normally allow photographs of me to be taken so it's a little bit out of my comfort zone.
