One of the best things about going on a trip is the anticipation! Just under a month until our 2 week trip to Guatemala. Leaving the girls behind with grandparents. Taking the baby and the backpacks!

Oh my, you must be so excited! I loved Guatemala. We spent a couple of weeks there but it was about 15 years ago! Antigua was so pretty, great for photography. I can't even remember all the places we went but I loved it all.
@kiwichick - have heard great things about Antigua - it's the first stop right from the airport. If you think of any good tips or fav experiences, please let me know!
The ruins at Tikal were amazing, although from memory it was a lot of walking that day. We stayed a few nights on Lake Atitlan which was fun. We also spent a night at the hot springs at Fuentes Georginas which we enjoyed.
