This morning we left Hunting Island State Park at 6 am in driving, sideways rain. There were branches and palm fronds all over the road. We drove through some very gusty winds to make it to Jekyll Island as the sun put away the gray sky and rain. The gusty winds still prevailed as you can see in this photo taken on St. Andrews Beach on Jekyll Island.
