Moccasin Creek Bridge by kvphoto

Moccasin Creek Bridge

This bridge goes from Moccasin Creek State Park to the boat ramp @ Lake Burton. The Lake Burton Trout Hatchery is across the creek from the park. Normally there is a lot more water in the creek and the rock that I jumped onto to get this picture is usually under water. The rock was very slick and I'm happy I got my shot without slipping/falling.
Beautiful scene

You are lucky. The last time I jumped a rock was during my engagement pics photo shoot 13 years ago. I slipped on some moss, cracked the back of my skull, broke my little finger AND the screen on my cell phone! Nice image, keep it up!

@sdutoit @photographycrazy @judithdeacon @ggshearron thanks so much! Glover... hearing your story will make me think twice about jumping on slick rocks. I fell once years ago shooting a waterfall in the Smokies... not fun!
