Note: A shout out to my 365 friend Gary W. @thewatersphotos for inspiring me to revisit my home town... I've enjoyed seeing his series of photos on his home town. ***I used Adobe Spark to create the collage.
Ah! I'm so glad I could inspire you! I don't think I've been to Acworth, but I've been all around it. We have family in Marietta.
Love the collage! Great railroad building!
@kvphoto I do have Photoshop and On1. I'd rather do it in On1 but I need to go through the tutorial. Adobe Spark looks interesting, but it's only free for so long. If I'm going to spend money, I'll probably update my On1 from 10 to RAW.
@marlboromaam that is a bummer that Spark isn't going to continue to be free... I have the entire Adobe Suite though I primarily use PS, Bridge, & Camera Raw. Other than that I use Aurora HD & the Nik Collection filters... I really love Silver Effects Pro (Nik for PS) for B&W conversions.
@kvphoto On1 is a little cheaper. Check it out when you have the time. You like my borders and other effects. I mainly use On1 to edit my photos and only use Photoshop for the really quirky things.
@marlboromaam thanks so much for the tips... I have so many different editing programs I think I need to learn to use what I've got already. Hey... if you don't mind me asking... what name do you prefer??? Ms. Ma'am or Marlboro?
@kvphoto Call me anything you want to! I'm not partial. But you can call me Maggie, if you want to. BTW, You said you have the Adobe Suite of apps. I used InDesign to create my collage. Was easier to feather the edges of the photos, size them, add text, etc. I may upload it tomorrow.
@marlboromaam thanks for sharing that Maggie Ma'am!!! I've never used InDesign... I'm installing it now and will have to give it a try... thanks for the tip. I'm looking forward to seeing your collage.
Love the collage! Great railroad building!
