I had a fabulous day fishing on Wildcat Creek with my fishing buddy. I've never fished a trout stream in the fall since they quit stocking the streams at Labor Day. This year Wildcat was not stocked during the regular season but was stocked two or three times in September. I caught one small rainbow trout and it sure had pretty color... very vibrant and so much fun to catch.
@aikiuser Jenn... as I made the decision to apply the oil paint filter only to the background I thought about the idea of falling into a painting... so your comment nailed it!
@milaniet It is very cool that you love to trout fish as too... do you have any favorite places to fish?
@thewatersphotos Thanks Gary... I haven't trout fished much in 2020 with the COVID lockdowns, etc. but in past years I typically went trout fishing once a week - on a long day trip. It wasn't unusual for me to catch my limit of 8... but I have to say catching this one in the fall was so special with the beauty of the creek and all the colorful leaves. It was very memorable!
