Mean Mallard

--John James Audubon--I enjoy watching ducks interact with one another. They really are fascinating. Though beautiful this mallard was very aggressive towards the Pekin ducks.

Interestingly the water was more green than blue and it was much clearer than its normal cloudy brownish color. I keep waiting for the mallard to be in the sun and got lucky to catch this shot. They are beautiful ducks and I agree with Susan @wakelys that there is a pecking order in the bird world.
