– Karen Salmansohn--This butterfly has lost much of its yellow color and is a bit battered. It loved the Carolina Phlox in the pollinator garden I've been working on... it is so nice to have the butterflies and bees visit. I don’t think the faded colors diminish this butterfly’s beauty at all! I was out watering flowers this morning, watching a butterfly when all of a sudden our resident bullfrog snatched him for breakfast. A few hours later he caught another one! I’m afraid I will have a well fed bullfrog and no butterflies!!!
