Alone on a lovely peninsula we witnessed a gorgeous sunset followed by a lovely sunrise. Then the wind howled and the rain followed. Whitecaps flew across the lake and we watched a Great Blue Heron fish the waters outside our windows while we stayed warm and toasty inside as we read books, sipped coffee and tea, and enjoyed the last days of our wonderful camping trip.
