Back in the analog days of film I rolled my own black & white film and would buy 100 foot rolls of Kodak's Tri-X film and use a changing bag to hand load each cassette. On the cigar box you can see that I played around with a wood burning set that I had while in high school. Again... while I'd have to categorize the canisters and cassettes as trash they hold sentimental value to me so perhaps they are trinkets.
In college, I worked for the Minnesota Daily and took art classes in photography. The reusable cassettes were so valuable. We would go to the one-hour film places (Ritz Camera was the most common place) and find the reusable cassettes we could pop the ends on and off from. Thanks for bringing back my memories of doing that.
