My first Dandelion by kwind

My first Dandelion

I've been admiring everyone's dandelion photos on here so I thought I'd give it a try. Here's my first attempt. It's nothing too special but it's relatively clear (especially considering the wind was blowing).
It's a fantastic dandelion. It clashes with the background little bit. Could you crop it in little tighter ?

Great focus, and with summer just beginning there will be plenty more opportunities!

@bardejov Thanks for the tips. I wish more people would give suggestions. I cropped it quite a bit already and was worried about the quality. I tried a bunch of different processing styles. The plant is actually green but it was overpowering. I was pleased with the dandelion but the background is an issue for me too. Next time, I'll go for something more solid.
@suklassen Thanks, Susan. I'm definitely going to spend some more time with the subject.

I feel the same. More suggestions would be useful. What you can do is to trow piece of dark fabric on the ground behind. Easy for me to say now, right ?

It's crystal clear and the incompleteness adds to the charm

l like this - your background looks good too - l must carry a black card or some material to use for these situations too!!!

I love the tones and colors in this! I'm reading your other comments here and I too also welcome suggestions on my photos!! Here's mine - maybe try a narrower DOF to blur the background even more?
