@krissym Thanks, Kristine. She was wearing an ugly red shirt with writing all over it so I cropped it out. I wish she had some vintage style dress on instead!
I like the hair. I like the square crop too, but I agree with someone else that it would be nice to have seen a bit more of her neck and shoulders. I like the lighting too...is this natural light or flash? I know nothing about lighting :(

Thanks for you comments and ideas. No flash was used. There wasn't a lot of light available so it's a miracle it turned out. I asked her to stay really still and I did the same. In fact, I held my breath! I also had her close to a window and turned towards the light. I just checked into reducing the crop. I was going to put in my "extra" album so you could compare but it's not good. She was between a lamp and a mirror and her cotton t-shirt wrecks the whole effect. If I zoom out, there's lines and stuff everywhere.
This is very pretty. I like the idea very much. I guesswith portrait like this you just need to take a lot of shots, try different angles and poses as long as model is willing to cooperate. She has beautiful face.
This is a beaufitul portrait. Her eyes really catch the attention and I think the hairdo is kinda cool and gives it a vintage feeling. You should do this again sometime, planned and with a matching outfit!
I love portraits, and this one is amazing. Her hair looks awesome, love the angle and that she is gazing up at her crazy hair. She has some eyelashes to die for. Fav.
