A Chive on Steroids

Day three of the swim meet and I had to venture outside for some air! This "chive like" flower caught my eye. It was HUGE!!! It had to be 10-15cm across and stood at least 45cm tall. I put the camera low and snapped!

Magnificent shot! Love the low angle, the light flare around the flower, the bokeh on the tree, the rich colours, the perfect focus! Really superb.

Would have liked the have the top edge of the flower in shot, it's sooo close, but that really doesn't detract from this superb photo. Well done!
