I built a rather pathetic inukshuk today as we played at the beach for the last time this summer...school and work starts tomorrow. Here's my creation from a few different angles.
Interesting concept KWind!! I had to look up the term, inukshuk, to see what it is. I found it was to be the shape of a man, but I couldn't find the meaning of it was.
Great collage! I particularly like the lower right image (straight down) but all three need to be present to fully grasp what it is. I love learning about the inukshuks, too! first time I've ever heard of it.
I just looked inukshuk up online. Most of the others I saw were made of squarish-rectangular rocks. Yours is very uniqe and was probably VERY hard to keep balanced with the roundish rocks! Great job on the construction and hope for light winds ;-)
@jimbob1955 true inukshuks are built in northern Canada where the rocks are much different. It was tricky today with the rounded ones I was using. It was windy too. If you look close you can see how the top rock blew off in two of the shots.
once again I have learned something on 365! I have seen these before, but always thought they had Asian origin...really surprised to see they are Canadian! these are really nice shots of yours!
Love the DOF and montage. All the angles feel so bright and sunny,
