In honor of 12/12/12 I thought I'd make a 12 shot collage and since it's almost Christmas I went with Santa as my subject. These are all my mom's. We are going away for Christmas so I'm not decorating and have virtually nothing festive in my own home.
Thanks for all your comments and congrats on Gage's swimming successes. He's doing really well and we are proud but not putting any Olympic pressure on him. It's about fun, fitness and friends at this point. Here's the screen shot I posted on my extras album this morning... http://365project.org/kwind/extra-shots
I arranged to have my house demolished today!! We spent $9000 last week getting the asbestos removed from the attic so it could be torn down on Jan. 21st. I got to pay another $60 for the demo permit today. We have more meetings the first week of January in order to get our environmental sensitive permit (since the new house is located so close to the ocean). I can't begin to tell you the number of hours and money I've spent on all this junk!! I can't wait until we break ground.... I feel it is at least getting closer!!
such a cute idea for a collage to mark the day! they are all sweet!! Sounds like you are going through alot with the house!! i hope it all sorts itself out very soon and you can enjoy some of the holidays!
@jesperani @superbeyotch @kdimagery I'm just whining a bit. I'm not the most patient person so all the forms, meetings and phone calls are starting to annoy me. It's all going to be worth it and I appreciation your comments.

We bought the property July 17th and have been working on house plans and various permits since the end of August. Hopefully we will start building no later than March. We should definitely be in by next Christmas!!
So festive! Isn't it amazing what all you have to do to either tear down or build a new building? It's amazing. At least it sounds like you have done your homework and know what's required.

KWind Unfortunately I accidentally deleted your comment from today. Would it make you much to comment again?

Keep thinking 'one day all this house stuff will just be a bad memory'.... :)
