Great idea and beautifully executed - I can see the window reflected in your eye - which shows how sharp it is. Love the cascading colours around your eye and the way they go in and out of focus. Super shot.
@kwind special request - I have my new homework assignment - to look at a photo - figure out light source, lens used and settings and focal length ( write all that down) and then try to duplicate image yourself! I am appropriately "freaked out". So my special request is - may I use this image of yours as one homework assignments? It will not be used in any other way, but I will have to show it to the instructor. ( I have been covering up the data when looking at this shot). My good friend Michelle (@momsta) would like to join me is this challenge too - I love how 365 keeps us doing things together even though we live on different continents.
@sianipops You'll do great!! I sat in front of a sliding glass door with lots of light. I used a tripod and remote shutter but you could do it with a self timer too. I had a specific focal point set and then just took lots of shots to get everything lined up until the eye was focused. I'd love to see yours!
And YYYAAAYYY on the top 20! :)
