I must start with a GIANT THANK YOU for all your comments and fav's on yesterday's Strong Man Pose. I can't get over your response!! I'm thrilled that you all like it! It seems to have attracted a number of new followers too! Welcome!! Just so you know, I'm not one to individually thank people for their comments. Instead, I use my time to view and comment on your work.
Today's shot is of my daughter and her lovely long hair. She usually has it up so when it was flowing this afternoon, I asked her to put it into pig tails like I used to do when she was little. She resisted at first but eventually gave in and I think she had fun being my model. I thought I'd create this diptych for the weekly theme.
love that sunlight you caught and her quizzical "this is what you want me to do" look ( at least that's how i see it).
lol just got through reading a thread about thank you's and commenting - i'm with you, i'd much rather have time to comment on great shots than individual plain thank you's. That being said I do want to say a big thank you to you, you are the most consistent and dedicated follower and I really appreciate the time and effort you put in to encouraging myself and others.
Haha, nice one. Love the light and the expression, she really looks like you on the first one!! And the movement you captured. Great choice for the theme.
Cracking diptych (a new word I learn yesterday)! Such lovely light in both - they balance beautifully.
(And I'm absolutely with you on the comments/thanks) :)
This is a great idea for the theme! And turned out great! I like the mixture of the one shot where she is swinging it around and the other where she is not quite sure what to do with the ponytails from her youth! Lighting is fabulous!
Cool idea, fun shots and stunning doll you have, I am loving your people shots, dropped a couple of favs when I saw the first but somehow time is just slipping like sand through my fingers...
