Still unpacking and today I came across a box of framed photos that have been in storage for over a year. This one made me laugh!! Kennedy, when she was 4, loving her newborn brother. I know it looks like she's hurting him but she wasn't. I think it kind of represents their relationship. They say they "hate" each other and fight like crazy but then deep down they love each other. They could never admit it but they protect each other when needed.
On the house front... still NO HOT WATER!! Some regulator thing was not in stock. Supposedly tomorrow my gas will be hooked up and with it the boiler. On the positive side, all my cabinet drawers are now in (albeit most of them without the fancy door fronts), TV/Internet/Phone are operational, many miscellaneous electrical issues have been remedied, heat thermostat have replaced the ugly wires and the quartz pieces in my laundry room that they "forgot" to secure are now siliconed. I've cleaned 95% the old house and only need to empty the fridge (new one comes on Wednesday) and wash the hall floor. The end is in sight!
It sounds so exciting! There is so much to organise, check and tick off! Good to get this all done before any cold weather creeps in! This is a gorgeous photo! Big brown eyes!
Very cute picture of your children. You have so much energy... the description is like the commercial of the Energizing Bunny... going, and going, and going :)
hahaha... my older sister and I tried to flush my brother down the toilet when he was a baby.. he had a poopy diaper and we didn't want our mom to be mad at him. Love her expression
Nice shot! Let's hope that you are right about the "deep down they love each other" bit. My elder sister and I fought each other tooth and nail and I don't love her one bit even after all these years.
fabulous shot ~ my grandkids say they hate each other too [ aged 8 and 4/ boy and girl] ,,, but when I watch them play it is a different story :-) although the 4 year old girl does seem to take control of playtime and the boy just goes along for a peaceful life, LOL
fun picture! sounds like you're almost "there" with the new house... very exciting - but still so stressful by the sounds of it... no hot water is a major red flag for me... it's kind of key to starting the day off right!
