Looking What Went Floating by

The view is ever changing here. Tonight we looked out and saw these MASSIVE structures being towed south. I suspect they are fishing lodges being relocated due to the changing seasons. Best viewed Large.

@skipt07 They aren't taken out of the water. They are on floats permanently. They are probably just moving them south to a more protected location for the winter.

@maggiemae The water was flat all day but it does get rough here and you'd be surprised what goes bouncing by in white caps.

oh WOW! a few years ago, we had some bad flooding and the houseboats came loose and this was the sight we saw...not good! But nice to see this is not because of a tragedy!

Hehe I have been on one of those fishing lodges (very similar to left one actually!). What a neat shot. The one I went to was in Milbanke Sound and I know it is a mobile fishing 'hotel' that moves as the fishing seasons change.
