I got a new umbrella in my stocking for Christmas and thought today's sideways rain might make a neat shot! My daughter didn't even get off the patio and we realized we weren't going to make it to the beach! She's actually under a high covered roof so you can't see the rain but it was there! I watched a tug boat pull a large barge northward, only to suddenly turn around and head south! Two hours later, it's back and it just turned around again... crazy! You couldn't pay me a million dollars to go out in those waves right now!!
Great shot....the colors are beautiful, and the action right on! Definitely would not want to be out in that sideways rain....great your umbrella made it!
