Today was my Sunday (even though it was Monday). The kids had a pro-d day and were off school so I went back to bed until 11:00. It was nice to relax!! I baked muffins and cookies, washed the salt off all the back windows, vacuumed, got groceries and then my daughter and I had a little photo shoot. We had a HUGE storm last night but woke to blue sky, flat water and sunshine. Then about 4:00 it started to pour. I've been wanting to do some umbrella shots so we grabbed our boots and umbrellas and headed out. But by that time the sun was back along with distance rainbows. We still had fun! Oh wow! The hair, the color, the rainbow!!!! A new one for the wall!! ;-) Totally an insta-fav!! The only thing I might do if printing this out is make the umbrella just a tad lighter/brighter...but just a tad.
Wonderful shot. I think I remember a similar earlier one from more than a few months ago, more Mary Poppins like, girl in the air. The colors work so very nicely together.
@frankhymus Good memory, Frank. Same girl, same umbrella, a big jump but over a puddle. I think it was April. I won the weekly puddle theme with that shot.
