I won the My Favourite Colour Photo Collage Challenge (thank you to all who voted for me) and I'm hosting the next one with the topic... "My favourite Memory". Here's all the details: http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/21523/my-favourite-photos-in-a-collage-mfpiac-3. I'm not eligible to win but I thought it would be fun to make one just the same. I saw Leslie's 'Crazy Sisters' shot today ( http://365project.org/lesip/year-3/2014-03-06) and it made me think of my sisters and our Charlie's Angel's pose which then lead me to remember my trip to Japan with my mom and younger sister to see my middle sister who lived there at the time. We went to meet her newly born son, Beckett. Needless to say, I just spent the last hour looking through photos, smiling and remembering a great day exploring Osaka Castle. The grounds of the place are HUGE! There's a giant moat that goes around the castle and gardens. It was very pretty! I have two younger sisters. The fourth woman in the bottom shots is my mom! These were take May 2009.
@kjarn I just drag the lines around or add another one. I often start off by rotating the whole blank collage. If you drag a photo over to a blank spot a new opening will appear. Changing the thickness of the spacing really makes a difference in the appearance too.
What a wonderful idea for the collage challenge, and what a terrific set of images. It's making me wish I had a sister (fortunately, I have two wonderful sisters-in-law). AND, I can't wait for this summer's photo trip to Japan! Congrats on winning the challenge -- your collage was so artistic!
Now to get stuck into a collage.
