I did a little photo shoot with my daughter's swim club friend, Cailyn yesterday afternoon. She asked me a while ago and we hadn't found the time until now. I made this for her using Picmonkey and one of the shots. I did a similar thing last year for my kids which I enlarged and hung on the wall. Here they are if you want to check them out: http://365project.org/kwind/365/2013-10-13 and http://365project.org/kwind/365/2013-10-14
A great portrait of a beautiful young lady ! I love the idea of the descriptive words on the background -- this creates extra interest and adds to the portrait !
Great composition. Lovely shot of her and a very natural one too along with the effective background. Love the way you have expressed all the wonderful things about her too. Looked back at the others that you did, all great.
Well done Kim! My oldest granddaughter was a very talented swimmer. She swam for her high school team in Alaska. But she started having problems with the tendons in her right hip. When they moved to Florida she tried out for the team and the coach kept pushing her where she finally had to quite because of the pain. We all thought she'd have a great chance of getting a scholarship in college. The doctors improperly diagnosed her condition until much later. They say what she has is something many swimmers get. I think they call it Snap Hip or Snapping Hip.
