Absolutely perfect for this Halloween Week! I need to get "another" pumpkin! We have two lovely ones, but I want them to stay whole until "American Thanksgiving". Meanwhile I crave those beautiful pumpkin seeds, salted and toasted...yummo!

Nothing better than digging into the guts of the pumpkin and getting the goo all over your hands and under your fingernails!! That's the best part of carving them I think!! We used to do it outside on the picnic table and and have pumpkin gut fights!!! I hope you have taken photos of the carved ones for us to see!!! FAV
Actually, it's a priceless picture, one you'll thoroughly enjoy viewing years from now when those young hands are all grown up and off living life elsewhere. I wish I'd taken more pictures of my boys' hands... Excellent seasonal shot.
The details in this photo are quite amazing -- with the gooey look to the hands and the tiny seeds. Well captured. Didn't realize your theme was orange -- thought it was Halloween! Duh...either way, it's fun to see the way you play with color.
Yeah, never been into pumpkin carving, and this shot thoroughly demonstrates what a messy, gooey process it can be! You have so much creativity in that family that I am sure the end results were totally worth this phase!
