Local wildlife is really showing off lately. I dropped my daughter off at school this morning, drove down a big hill that leads to the road along the ocean. Guess what I saw?? Orcas!! That's two days in a row!! I suspect they were the same pod that passed our house yesterday. Thank you for all your comments and favs, by the way! It was beautiful here today so I explored the beach. I spotted two eagles sitting side by side on the water's edge and crept to get a shot. One took off right away and then the other left to follow his/her friend. Tomorrow I'll show you where it landed. Best viewed large.

Wonderful take off... I am enjoying the feathers at the tips of his wings and his curled up feet, like landing gear brought up. Such amazing creatures! You did a great job of capturing this moment.
