I thought I'd give you a closer look at our room in Vernazza. I mentioned yesterday it took 220 steps to get from the main street, where we got the keys, to the top. The last set of steps were NARROW and spiral. Thank goodness we packed very light!! I've added graphics again to show you our room. The far away shot was taken when we went on a boat ride to a neighbouring town. The bird's eye view was taken from the castle that you an see in yesterday's image. Can you see the little white building on the edge with the white chairs?? That's their breakfast room. It was amazing eating on that balcony with that view!
I spent another 6 hours working on my photo book today. I think I'm done! Tomorrow morning I leave for a 3 night/2 day photo workshop in beautiful Tofino, BC on the west coast. It will take me 3 hours to get there. I must go pack now.
These Italian coastal villages seem to be always perched high up on rocks! Many steps up but the views are marvellous Lovely to see them here! We have been to Tofino which also sounds very Italian!
Great collection of images!Yes, you definitely get a workout climbing the stairs in the little villages in Italy. That's why you can eat so much good pasta and not gain a pound when you're there!
What a wonderful place... your Italian shots are making me long to see this in person. Lovely collage. I am envious of your upcoming photo workshop, too! :)
Looks like you had a great time!
