Gourds

The pumpkin patch we visited yesterday (thanks for all your comments and favs) sold gourds... 30 for $10 so I couldn't resist. today I laid a few on the boat shed floor and tried to be artsy! Looks better enlarged on black.

@maggiemae They are fairly small. The biggest is no more than 10cm/6" across. I was standing on a ladder so I could get high enough.

gourd-geous! i've seen a similar shot in a magazine from a long time ago. this is much better with the lighting and the texture of thd floor sets off the colours and shapes of the gourds. like danette @danette i thought they look like an encrypted message the way you have placed them. great shot!
