Trick or Treat

Halloween did not go as planned! I woke with a migraine and spent the entire day in bed. For the first time ever, I didn't go trick or treating with my kids. We didn't even carve our pumpkins! The next day I felt better but still took it very easy as my head was very sensitive.
I understand that those migraines are awful - what miserable timing. Do hope you're feeling back to yourself now.

So sorry, my friend. Are you well now?

@amandal Yes, thank goodness. My eyes are still very sensitive to light. Migraines scare me because they always start with my eyes doing weird things. Then I panic! I think the worst is over. It wiped me out for two days!

That must be a first not calving the pumpkins ....migraines are the worst thing...hope you are slowly recovering.

That sounds aweful. I'm glad you are getting back to normal now though. I love the colours in your halloween bunting, very pretty.

Lovely shot but so sorry to hear you missed the celebrations. Hope you are feeling better again soon. My husband used to have terrible migraines, but touch wood he hasn't had any for quite a while. They really do wipe you out don't they. Take it easy.

Sorry to hear your Halloween was spent in bed . Do you get them often? Thankfully I only get headaches occasionally, can't imagine the pain of a migraine.

I'm so sorry about the migraine that just plan ruined the day(s). Cute banner on the mirror (that shows us more of your pumpkin collection).

So sorry about Halloween being so miserable....hate migraines...do you get nauseous, too?! Love the banner in front of the mirror that is reflecting your partial pumpkin collection!! At least you enjoyed the rest of the month....take care of yourself. I know the essential oils help, but there are also nutritional supplements you can take, and of course, stress does not help! ;-)))

Sorry I have a friend that has migraines and understand how debilitating they can be. Many times are robbed by them. The good thing is there will be more Halloweens.

Nicely decorated. Glad you are better.

@kwind Sorry you were poorly Kim. I too am a migraine sufferer, and mine are definitely brought on by light. They do funny things to my eyes during the onset, and more recently have even affected my speech. Very frightening. On the plus side, I get them much more infrequently than when I was younger. I believe mine are hormonal - i.e. they started around puberty, phased out to return in pregnancy and back again during menopause. They are very debilitating, but fortunately not too frequent. I hope you are feeling much better today. I know that 'delicate' feeling the next day - and of being hungry, strangely, too! Sorry that you missed Halloween, but at least you have a record of it on your 365 album! Lovely view of your home through the mirror! :-)
