My kids were competitive swimmers for years - the sport was our life. Then my daughter had jaw issues (severe TMJ) and my son lost interest and we left. Yesterday was Kennedy's first meet in over a year and a half. I had fun taking pics!
Lovely splash against the calm, with her hands so clearly visible underneath the water. TMJ sounds excruciating, but nice to see her in the water again!
Great shot! We know how an offspring's sport can be a life for the entire family. Our own two were into Little League/Senior League baseball, both were into soccer, our daughter was into softball. We had 12 high school foreign exchange students during the years our kids were in school, and they were into swimming, tennis, soccer, fencing, music (our daughter was also in her high school band) We followed all their games, events, etc. It got hairy at times, but...... We actually miss it now and then, and our kids are grown now..... Our son is a grandpa!
Great action shot ! Love the calm of the lower water , The sharp and vivid splash and then the out of focus upper water , with a glimpse of the lower limbs ! Super -you also seemed to have lovedlthe time behind the camera !!
Fabulous action captured perfectly! I remember your earlier swimming shots which were wonderful! Good to see your daughter back in the pool! Love that surge of water giving that sense of power. Fav!
Have you tried going gluten free with him. Clara had chronic stomach aches and now hardly any with no gluten...or much less. She cheats with no seeming ill effect every once in awhile.
