Old Growth

We went for a short hike yesterday with my new wide angle lens (early Xmas gift from hubby). There was this HUGE cedar tree along the route. Best viewed large against black!

@pamknowler I am Canon too and have the Canon Ultrasonic EFS 10-22mm (f3.5-f4.5) wide angle which I bought second hand. I am really happy with it.

Beautiful shot, Kim.....so nice to get a new lens, and one with so many possibilities!! I have the Tokina 11-16 for my crop sensor D90, and was coveting the 10-24 that Taffy uses, but was told recently that this is a better lens to get, especially since it uses the same size filter (77mm) as my 24-70, and the 70-200....plus, it's about 1K less expensive than the 10-24 and lighter! Will be looking forward to your shots with this wide angle....this is a great start and a FAV!!
