Catcher

I haven't taken many baseball photos this season (with my son being so sick) so I jumped at the opportunity to snap some shots today. The provincial championships are happening in my town and my former hometown (two hours away) was also there. I sat with a friend from high school and took photos of her son and his friends! They won both their games!!
Great action!

Super action...... The look on this little guy's face shows his intense concentration of catching that ball. ....... Like you you caught the ball so close to the mitt.

Great catch, both for you and the catcher-kid.

It's so not fair that your son has missed out on baseball this summer because of his health challenges. I think of him often and wish for a miracle...

Marvelous action shot - beautifully timed. I hope the IV treatments are being of some positive help - you (and your son) have been in my prayers. Fav

@lyndemc @milaniet Gage is back to his old healthy self!! His life changed on June 27th after his third Remicade treatment. The meds kicked in and he's been going strong ever since... thank goodness! He will need infusions every 4 weeks at this point which requires a trip to BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver but we're happy to go if it's working. He missed tryouts for summer ball this year because he was ill at that point. He's excited to return to the field next year.
