I've been crazy busy the last two days - we booked a cruise and are going to Copenhagen in June for my 50th birthday with friends. It's been quite the process booking flights and hotels for either end of the cruise but I think I've got the basics covered. I've got the next 9 months to research or ports of call. I'll get back to commenting tomorrow! If you have any tips/suggestions for any of these cities I'd love to hear them... Copenhagen, Tallinn, St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Stockholm and Warnamunde (Germany).
p.s. This is an iPhone shot of my husband. We've made a point of riding the last few days as the weather has been fantastic. WE have a 10km seawall in town that's a beautiful spot for riding.
A fabulous photo! I love that sky reflected on the water. When I was in St Petersburg, two things were really special: The Catherine Palace and a canal cruise one afternoon/evening. It’s such a spectacular city.
As @louannwarren said Catherine's Summer Palace at Puskin is a must. I loved St. Petersburg. The architecture is wonderful. That is a wonderful trip. You will enjoy it.
Love the way the sun is highlighting Rons bike wheels. My daughter is 50 tomorrow, they have just come back from a week in Lisburn with another couple sharing the same birthday. Younwill organise it beautifully I kmow!
