Surprise.... snow! by kwind

Surprise.... snow!

Crazy weather tonight... snow, lightning and thunder all at the same time. There's some weather "bomb" coming during the night/morning that's supposed to bring 80km/h winds.
That sure sounds threatening - not a good way to end fall - a really neat shot here.

Oh no! That doesn't sound good. Hope everything stayed in its place, but this is a very cool photo!

Omg. That reminds me of our drive to Whistler, Canada. The driving condition looked like that and it was so scary. Stay safe.

Love this image, hope you were not the driver. Also hoping it is not as bad as it sounds.

Oh dear, that looks wicked! I see we might get some of it on Thursday in Scotland.

Love the movement in this. Thought your windscreen had cracked for a moment there!

Super shot -- but I hope it will pass you by soon !

I am usually driving and so can't take this shot. But this is just how it looks. I now seldom drive at night. Maybe after my cataract operation on Thursday I won't be so concerned.

i once drove in a condition similar to this, on the way to chicago of all things. it's surreal how you can't see anything else (at least here there is that horizon) and just that point where it seems some force is sucking you in. when i saw an exit ramp, i just went for it and stopped, luckily, at a hotel parking lot where there was a restaurant. so we had soup and 30 minutes later, snow was gone and we drove on.
