Welcome December 1st and chocolate for breakfast! I found this wooden advent calendar years ago at a funky store in the Seattle airport on our way home from a Hawaii. I carried it through two more airports before we made it home. I fill it with chocolates every year.
Yours is beautiful! I've been doing one for my granddaughter since she was about 8 - the last 2 years I've had one for she AND Jerik. They started there's today, too. We'd almost forgotten as the chocolate has been in the garage fridge for a month!
Now that was a prize find...passed down through your family I can see it will be well loved. I’ve seen the sewn ones with pockets but this one is beautiful.
@randystreat The openings are big enough that I could probably put 4 treats in each but I do two for Gage and I. Kennedy likes Lindt chocolate and having her own personal advent calendar so she gets the Costco version for her room. Ron isn't a big chocolate guy so he goes without (at his request).
Wonderful We are given and advent calendar each year from a friend. This year it arrived in the mail and this year the treats are motivational sayings.
