My husband is a little strange... he rarely wears pants!! This was taken yesterday morning when the temperature was around -6 (celsius). Our snow was super light and fluffy so he was able to push it away with two shovels at the same time!!
A friend of ours who came to Australia from Austria when he was 18 always wears shorts too whatever the weather. I I know it doesn't get so cold here but we still think he is mad ha ha
My son use to wear only shorts too. When we had a cold spell in Houston, he (15) phoned that the school would not let him outside during the break unless he had proper trousers. I drove to school and drop a pair off. He was angry at the school and said that legs do not feel the cold.
My sons in NZ pretty much always wear shorts, the boys too but their winter is much shorter & milder over there…saying that South Island where half of them live can get cold. He must be used to it….my husband never wears a scarf or hat unless it’s pouring down & always has his sleeves pushed up! . Outside workers are tough.
It is hard to empathize with shorts wearing in that weather. I would not only have long pants, but long underwear beneath. Fun photo with him handling the two shovels so well to get the job done.
Like Issi we know a few shorts wearing people too.
