Another shot from our Scotland trip... this is the Heart of Midlothian. It is located outside St. Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh on the Royal Mile. Locals will often spit upon the heart as a sign of good luck but we didn't see any of that when we were there.
I’ve spat on that! My mother is from Bonnyrigg (very near Edinburgh) so when Kim and I lived over there from 2003 - 2011 we spent of lot of time up in Scotland (we were based in Southern England but have too much family north of the border to ignore!)
